About Villa Regina

This beautiful, traditional country residence is immersed in the valley of Civita di Bagnoregio, in the ancient Etruscan land called Tuscia. Just a short distance away from Viterbo and Lake Bolsena, you will be greeted by a wonderful natural garden filled with age-old olive trees, chestnuts and oaks. Less than an hour from Rome.

This gorgeous old farmhouse is distributed over two floors that has been renovated and furnished according to the criteria of the period without renouncing modern standards.

From the 3 hectares of parkland surrounding the property it is possible to admire the Calanchi Valley against which the unmistakable profile of Civita di Bagnoregio stands out. The latter, with its beauty and history that began with the Etruscans, passing through the Roman Empire and the Papal States, is just one of the many stunning tourist destinations in the area. In the vicinity are Lake Bolsena, the biggest volcanic lake in Europe, Viterbo, a papal city until 1281, the Splendid Orvieto with its cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, and the delightful Bomarzo Park of the Monsters.

Rome is less than an hour away and Florence two hours. The garden with a 5 x 10 meter swimming pool provided with deck chairs and beach umbrellas has a barbeque area.

The strategic position in the uncontaminated Calanchi Valley of Bagnoregio, offers the possibility of enjoying excursions by foot or on mountain bikes amidst the furrows and streams in a truly unique fairy-tale landscape.

The nearby riding stables offer a chance to fully experience the contact with nature.

A really stylish, comfortable and perfectly located apartment. The bed is comfy, the shower is excellent and the kitchen is really well-equiped! The roofed balcony provides the perfect spot for relaxing with a great view of the river, even if it’s raining. Great to have a smart TV too! The location is ideal, only a couple of mins walk from the city centre and has car parking underneath the apartment (although best to check the flood warnings before you park). This place gave us the perfect base for exploring York and a cosy retreat when the weather turned bad. Would highly recommend!

Firstly, thank you so much for all your help with this holiday. The villa Atlantis was beautiful, checking in etc was easy, all the facilities etc were great and that view!! Amazing.

Stayed at Villa Atlantis

We have stayed at Casa Dos Pais twice so far, location perfect for us! Its exactly in between Gale beach, Albufeira Old Town, and Guia (Algarve Shopping) its about 8 mins in the car in each direction. So spot on for us. Lots to walk to too so the car not always needed. Thumbs up from us we will come back a third time!
